VBGIGs (Virginia Beach Globally Inspired Gatherings)
Part of Virginia Beach’s Arts Plan 2030, VBGIGs encourages learning about neighbors near and far and sparks cultural curiosity through the performing arts. Children receive a VBGIGs passport and stickers to track the world regions they “visit” at each performance. Shows are planned now through April 2025 – all are free, but registration is required as space is limited.

VBGIGs: Dia De Muertos
Mis Raices Bailan and Rolando y Su Estilo Rancho join forces for a vibrant grand finale honoring loved ones past and celebrating their lives and ours to close out Dia De Los Muertos. On the mainstage at the Z, this performance will feature traditional Mexican Ballet Folklorico coupled with traditional music. The color, the emotion, the symoblism of the entire celebration culminate in this prime time appearance.
Seating is limited. Arrive early and meet artists and community organizations in the lobby, or visit the community Offrenda.
If any session appears sold out, you are welcome to to arrive and observe the lobby activties.
Walkups seats will be released on a first come, first serve basis as available.
